Bobi the Master Egg-Chef I woke up at 5Am to have my quiet time. It's about how God has included us into the royal priesthood the moment we accepted Christ who has become our highpriest - the one who offered atonement for our sins. It made me realize that since we were already included into that royal priesthood, we have been given the power to battle sin... Yet we still succumb to the thought that we can always be beaten by temptation.
Anyway, afterwards, I took my post as the house's cook for breakfast... And it's my first time (Yey!). I knew that it would be easy because I just had to cook fried eggs (sunny side up). Well at first I had some "unfortunate" looking ones, but when i got the hang of it they turned into the masterpiece that i want them to become. Mildly cooked yolk surrounded by firmly crisped eggwhite. Yummm!! I had so much fun that I found myself pretending to be a chef on a television show and talking to an invisible audience with my assistant -Joy (she's not imaginary though -hehe). As soon as the last egg was fried, I hurried to the table and tried one. Later, "Ate Jecelyn" (Ate means big sister) cooked some fried home-made longganisa (Filipino Sweet Sausage) to accompany the eggs... Voila!! it was one of the most perfect breakfasts that I've ever had!!!! Zelda 64 Just had a wild dose of Zelda 64 this morning. I have been ignoring the game for almost 3 years only to find out that it would give me a peculiar sense of enjoyment when I tried to tinker with it last night. The craze continued this morning after breakfast. Zelda is a story of a Kokiri Elf (Children of the Deku Tree) whose name is Link. Link's task was to save Hyrule by getting the three spiritual stones and the ocarina of time. Well this is a bit different from the other Zelda stories but it still had the same "Zelda" touch. The last time i played a zelda game was when I was in highschool when gameboys were the trend. I remembered how happy i was when my aunt gave me a gameboy and a "Zelda: Link's Awakening" game. It was sooo cool. I finished an RPG for the first time without cheating. It's different nowadays ofcourse, i can't stand wasting precious time just being repeatedly beaten by monsters so i use some "codes" that could help me finish the game and appreciate the graphics and story without the "hassle".
Back to Zelda 64: Ocarina of time... I'll say that Nintendo has indeed pulled it off on this one. It's a blast!
I'll be goin back to manila for the weekend and visit my lola. My dad's gonna buy me a new cellphone. I'm so excited. I still have a lot of things to do but I could just care less... I'm having so much fun!!! I'll take the pains later hehee...
It's been a while. So many things have happened that i'm already having a hard time trying to figure out where to start. Well... I've finally gotten over my weakness. I think i've just arrived at a state of "Neutrality". That was what i asked God for 2 weeks already and He finally gave it to me. I'm not just sure if it's being a blessing to others... but it helped me alot especially in concentrating with work and the ministry. I've just realized that i've not been doing enough for both. I don't think I was that effective in teaching IT1 and CMSC 191 to my students compared to my previous semesters here -and it makes me feel bad. Those wasted days makes me want to turn back time. Well... From my last blog, these events happened....
Batch 2K Reunion --- This event was so fun that i forgot my pains for a while. It's really good to be with old friends. I miss the times when we were just students -clueless of what awaited us but happy to seize the day...
Problems --- Don't want to talk much about it here. It was hard but i got a lot out of it.
Grandfather's problem --- Well this is another problem that turned out good in the end. I finally had a close conversation with him when i visited him at the hospital and at home. I've been visiting him weekly since then and i've seen a lot of improvement already.
Answered Prayer --- He finally answered my prayer. This is when i attained neutrality. It's making me uneasy now that i'm actually typing it -coz i hated the thought of being neutral. But i think it makes things a lot easier. :)
ACM Contest --- I've been too involved with alot of things lately that i've already forgotten one of the primary reasons of why i took MS studies. I hope it's not too late.
Israel Meeting --- This meeting was a blessing to me. It confirmed that God really needed us to straighten things out. I had a loooooooooong talk with my housemates and settled things that had to be settled -especially our spiritual walk with God - we were a bit lax before. I think this has been the start of a good year for us (again, i hope it's not too late)
Ok.. I think i forgot a lot of things... But these were the highlights. It's a surprise that some people (some = 2 hahah) have already found this blogsite and have actually replied to my posts ( i just intended this to be a stress-reliever and i wasn't expecting people whom i do not know would find it --- thanks to the lyrics i guess --- hahaha ) ...
Anyways, I think i'll be starting another blog about the novel i was writing when i was in highschool... I'm beginning to feel the flare again... haha....
